Resin gives colour a glassy depth that is hard to achieve any other way. It is a durable material, but it still needs a little care to stay clear and bright.
Mind the light
Long exposure to strong, direct sunlight can cause some resins to yellow over time. Choose a wall that gets soft, indirect light.
Clean gently
- Dust with a soft microfibre cloth.
- For marks, use a cloth barely dampened with water.
- Avoid alcohol, solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can cloud the surface.
Keep it away from heat
Do not place resin pieces near heaters, stoves or hot pans. For resin coasters and trays, check the maker’s guidance on heat before use.
